Palm Pre Plus and Palm Pixi Plus will go live in UK on May 28th

Palm announced today that Palm Pre Plus and Palm Pixi Plus will go live in UK on May 28th via O2 while Palm pixi will not hit UK. Palm also said that there will not be a single carrier alone like its previous releases. Palm’s VP of European sales Paul Ghent told that the company is in talk with the other carriers to take up the task.

Palm Pre Plus comes with 16 GB of internal memory while the other is provided with 8GB of Memory. All other features are same as the US version.

These 2 will have O2 as their carrier with Palm Pre Plus is priced at £35 a month after a 18 month contract while the other Palm Pixi Plus is priced at £30 a month after the same 18 Month contract.

Palm was recently acquired by HP after which palm is doing good in the market, however the real fight is after the launch of iPhone 4G from Apple. HTC will also be a tough contender.
