Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) Chrome for Mac and Linux: A new Chrome stable release

Google has announced the release of stable chrome for Mac and Linux users in its blogpost posted today in the official blog. It has also mentioned that Google is happy to take all the Mac and Linux users out of Chrome Beta Version.

The new release is enriched with features which includes the speed enhancement of the browser. Users can now set browser preferences across multiple computers other than sharing bookmarks. Browser preferences sharing include startup settings, web content settings, home page and much more. Google also has incorporated HTML5 Features in the stable release which includes things like drag and drop feature in Gmail, geolocation APIs, Web sockets etc.

They have also mentioned that Google is testing Adobe Flash player integration in Chrome. However it is not included in this release. Users using Beta version will be upgraded automatically but you can also upgrade it manually using the below link.
