Android 2.1 based HTC Liberty headed for AT&T
Sizzling News has been cracked about the HTC Liberty which is going to be delivered by AT&T. The detail that leaked out about the smartphone is about its OS that it will run Android OS from Google and the smartphone comes with a HVGA touchscreen as well.
AT&T has the desire to launch HTC with Android OS running in it in future but has not confirmed it yet.
The leaked out info says that the liberty is on carrier’s docket. The structure of this smartphone resembles a tablet with dimensions 320 x 480 touchscreen which was said earlier that it would be 2.8 inches along with an optical trackball. Physical keyboard is absent here. A 5 megapixel camera and a 3.5mm headset are the other specifications.
AT&T promised in releasing five Android based OS but so far Motorola Backflip and Dell Aero are only out in the market. But sure rest one of the model will be a HTC.
In April FCC approved a HTC with AT&T’s wireless network and with a slide keyboard and product number PC70110. This may be Android based HTC Aria but has not yet been confirmed.
