Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) iPhone 4G and 3G to get ‘Goggles’ from Google (NASDAQ: GOOG)
Google has confirmed today that the Apple iPhone will get its image recognition application Goggles soon. Google Goggles Product Manager Shailesh Nalawadi confirmed this news but refused to leak a word about the time of release.
Google also announced today that it will launch a technology by the end of this year which will power Goggles via APIs . “APIs are good and we would love to offer recognition capabilities as APIs eventually,”
Google updated the Goggles to support Text translation and recognition recently. It will be a great advantage for all iPhone users as Goggles has created a sensation among the Android 1.6+ users for a few months now.
