Sony has given new blood to the E series laptops to boost up the sales. Sony has come up with more models with better screen size and the ability to a see digital TV. There are two models basically, EA and EB. Sony has expanded one more model EC which will be a new addition.

The smallest E series 14-inch model EA will have the Intel Core i5-540M processor along with 500GB hard disk. It will also feature a Blu Ray disc and ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 graphics card.

The EB model will have a 15.5 inch screen along with Intel Wireless Display. The latest new addition EC will feature a 17.3-inch display along with a 1 GB ATI Mobility Radeon 5650 graphics card.

Mr. Tamagawa, Sony said that E series models are made keeping the youth in the mind and these will be the best for day to day use. These are light weight models and easy to carry as well.

The least priced E series model is $700.
