Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) used old Adobe Flash Player in the MAC OS X Security Update

Apple has released a MAC OS X security update which has created some confusion now. The security update includes a flash player which is an old version of flash claims Adobe. When apple claimed that the version is not correct, Brad Arkin, its senior director of product security from Adobe came out saying that the version used in the security update is not the latest one.

Adobe security blog claims that the flash player used in the update is version 10.0.45.2 but latest version is available in Adobe now. Adobe has also asked the users to check the version they are using.
