Android 2.2 Froyo for Nexus One Goes Official

The sexy Nexus One owners start to rejoice as Google has officially announced the availability of Android 2.2 via an over the air download. The official announcement of Google states that: in order to access the Android 2.2 update that the user will receive a message on their phone’s notification bar.

The user has to just download the update and wait for the installation of the downloaded update, and then the user should be all set. The downloaded update will be rolled out gradually to the phones and most of the users will receive the notification by the end of the week. Google hopes that the users will enjoy the new features.
